Ti Ora’s Out of Home Tea Campaign in New Zealand
Reed Pacific Media partnered with oOh!media and New Zealand-native tea company Ti Ora to create three scents for the launch of their new tea flavours. Reed Pacific Media, Havas, The Enthusiasts and oOh!media collaborated to develop the campaign. The scented tea panels appeared in Sylvia Park, North City and Northlands.
Together, we created a unique customer experience using “Push and Smell” technology in outdoor advertising panels. The panels welcomed customers to push the buttons releasing the different aromas of the new Ti Ora flavours. As a result, this helped Ti Ora sample their range and offer a memorable experience to the customer.
The new Ti Ora flavours include Lemon & Honey Chamomile tea with Manuka leaf, Strawberry & Pomegranate Green tea with Kawakawa, and Cinnamon Chai tea with Horopito. The different aromas enticed shoppers passing by with their fruity, aromatic and spicy fragrance. In addition, Reed Pacific Media exclusively developed the scented using custom scent technology.
Lastly, according to statistics, 42% of consumers find advertising more interesting when an interaction occurs. This statistic is highlighted in this campaign as more than 54,000 total interactions recorded between all the tea panels throughout New Zealand.
